Francesco
Group Wins Coveted Place in Regional Finals of the World’s Largest Hairdressing
Competition.
Dynamic
hairdressers from Francesco Group, Stafford have achieved coveted places in the
regional finals for the prestigious L’Oreal Professionel Colour Trophy 2008.
Katie Mulcahy and
Kate Bedson from the Church Lane salon and Janine White from the Woodings Yard
Academy/Church Lane salon are thrilled to have won places in the Regional Final.
They will join 39 teams from across the region to compete in the L’Oreal
Professionel Colour Trophy. The esteemed accolade has been inspiring
hairdressers for over 50 years and is deemed the most stylish hair competition
in the UK.
To arrive at this
stage, Katie, Kate and Janine saw off stiff competition from over 1200 salons
with their stunning photographic entry. The entry had to demonstrate an acute understanding of the autumn/winter
2008/09 catwalk fashions.
The Regional Final
will take place in Manchester, on April 2nd. They will have just 30
minutes to recreate their winning entry in front of a panel of top judges in
hope of securing a place in the Grand Final in London, in June.
Hairdressing
talent alone is not enough to win this incredible award. The hair, make-up,
model and clothes must all come together to create an image worthy of a place
in a top fashion magazine.
“We are so excited
to have made it through to the regional finals, we were delighted with the look
we created and hoped that it would get us through.” Katie Mulcahy and Kate
Bedson.
“I am thrilled to
have made it through and I can’t wait to present my model live at the Regional
Final” Janine White.
