30 Nov Find Out Which Colours Are In This Season!
As the evenings begin to darken, we want to reassure you that your hair does not plan on joining in. This winter is all about being bold & bright, so which colours are in this season…
First up, we must discuss colour, as it is about to go crazy! Limoncello and 80s inspired neon colour is going to rock your world. Paris Fall Fashion week saw models with bold hair colours or coloured hair extensions. These colours are not for the faint-hearted, do you feel ready for a dramatic change?
The next colour trend prediction is slightly tamer, and was first demonstrated on model Georgia May Jagger in October last year, but is has taken nearly seven months for the trend to finally become huge! Blorange does not stand for blonde/orange, instead it stands for blood orange – this perfect combination of orange, blonde and pink tones that make for a unique strawberry blonde look.
In terms of styles and cuts, Effortless hairstyles were one of the most on trend looks as seen at the New York, London & Paris Autumn/Winter catwalks. Think loose, soft waves and bedhead hair for a look that requires little to no styling, perfect for when you’re running late for work in the morning! Side partings were another on trend hairstyle. Whether you wear your hair in gorgeous waves, big bouncy curls or poker straight, a side parting looks great and will instantly update the style. Ponytails also remain popular for the A/W motnths and there are styles to suit everyone. Team your ponytail with a texture to make it look effortless or go for a super sleek ponytail style to give a chic statement. Accessorise your pony with a ribbon or scrunchy (hello 90s!) for extra glamour.
Finally, sleek styles are continuing their popularity, so ensure your locks are oozing with health and shine for this look. For a statement going out look, add a strong gel and use it to gel all the hair off the face or sleek one side behind the ear. This look works best when it looks super shiny, so one the gel is dried, spray on a gloss spray to make it look mirror like.
