COLOUR TRENDS WITH CLAIRE CHELL
We asked Claire Chell, our Creative Colour Director, to talk us through this season’s colour trends.
This season’s Autumn/Winter hair colour trends are all about cool and seamless shades that sit effortlessly together to reveal soft accents of texture. It is all about embracing what nature gave you but embellishing with gorgeous, muted tones; this season, subtlety is queen.

Strawberry Tones
This trend uses a delicate highlight to play up a warmer gold, strawberry blonde or reddish base. Could this autumn be your Golden Era?

Dusty Blonde
Embrace your natural hair colour to set off your dusty hues, it’s time to ditch the contrasting root colour and embrace what nature gave you. This dusty blonde trend is low maintenance and can only be set off by your natural depth and tones. Soft baby lights are added to your parting to soften the look and are toned darker to reduce any contrast.

Unfiltered Brunette
Natural hair colour is multi-tonal and reveals different signature tones depending on the light! Do you want to give your hair a break from lightening? Then this is the season to do it! Brunettes are embellishing their locks with softer, cooler and more delicate shades. Think a base of espresso with subtle shots of milk chocolate or a base of mocha with hues of toffee.
Cool brunette shades were hot on this season’s catwalks and worn by models such as Gizele Oliveira, Bella Hadid and actresses such as Mila Kunis and Keira Knightley

Stormy Grey
They say opposites attract and this seems to be the case for one of the latest hair trends. Black, white and grey! That’s right – salt & pepper hair isn’t just for silver foxes anymore. You may need to lighten your hair a platinum shade to achieve the iciest silver, but once you have white-blonde highlights you are only one step away from going grey.
