22 Jul Ben Dellicompagni Announced as New Chair of the Hair & Barber Council!
ANNOUNCED ASNew Chair
of the Hair & Barber Council
We are delighted to announce that our Managing Director Ben Dellicompagni has been appointed the new Chair of The Hair & Barber Council.
The Hair and Barber Council’s aim is to raise standards and improve professionalism within the hairdressing and barbering industry by encouraging every hairdresser and barber to join the UK Register of Qualified Hairdressers and Barbers.
Whilst state registration is mandatory for doctors, nurses, dentists and several other professions, it is not so for hairdressers and barbers, for whom registration is currently voluntary. The Hair and Barber Council’s aim is to significantly increase the number of hairdressers and barbers who join the UK Register of Qualified Hairdressers and Barbers.
In his role as Chair, Ben will be a unifying force to help bring hair and beauty professionals together from across the country and work in unison to become recognised as the professional industry we are.
I am highly motivated to work for our industry for the betterment of our industry, that has and will continue to provide so much for so many of us in the future.
Francesco Group Managing Director, Ben Dellicompagni
The Hair & Barber Council are thrilled at having Ben on board with this new position, commenting:
Ben and his company are on the coal face of the industry so to speak, running a very large group of salons, a franchise division and a government funded training contract. This gives him unprecedented knowledge of the sector at any given time.
Ben is excited to get his teeth stuck into this latest project, knowing that it is the key to improvement across the entire hair industry.
I am very proud that I was approached and I have accepted the role of Chair of the Hair and Barber Council. I am highly motivated to work for our industry for the betterment of our industry, that has and will continue to provide so much for so many of us in the future. I truly believe that working for professional status will greatly improve our great industry and raise standards across the board. I think it will support those hairdressers and salon owners who, like us, truly believe in training as the foundation to our Industry
