Face Shape Angled - Francesco Group Hairdressing

Angled

An angled face shape strongly tapers towards the chin; the forehead may be a prominent feature. Shoulder length and longer length hair suit this face shape. Adding layers and shape will add softness.

Face Shape Curved - Francesco Group Hairdressing

Curved

A curved face shape has a width and length that are almost the same; the face tends to be widest at the cheeks. Long lengths below the shoulder helps to elongate a curved face shape, adding soft layers sitting in line with cheekbones and an angled sweeping fringe will add dimension to the face. Heavy curved fringes are not recommended unless you feel like making a bold statement.

Face Shape Diamond - Francesco Group Hairdressing

Diamond

A diamond face shape is highly angular and widest at the temples. Short hairstyles work well on this face shape; long hair needs movement towards the mid-lengths and ends.

Face Shape Split - Francesco Group Hairdressing

Split – a combination of curved and angled

Shoulder length and below shoulder length will compliment this face shape. Short crops with soft layers to encourage width will compliment this face shape, styles without too much height and more width such as soft waves and curls will work best. This face shape can carry both a sweeping fringe and a full curved fringe, which will encourage width. Avoid sleek, long length and height as this will elongate the face.
